Now for a gentleman working in the technology industry and not the construction field Ron has done a pretty amazing job and thought you would enjoy viewing his "after" pictures.
He used a "select and better" grade of red oak stair treads and alternating plain and black "spoon" spindles. Because his triangular stair treads are much narrower on the open side than what hits the wall, you can get away with only 2 metal spindles per step.
